Public Works

Public Works is one of the most visible departments within the City government, yet many people are unaware of the operations that Public Works performs. It is important to understand what Public Works does and how it works for the City and its citizens.

There are six divisions within the City of Kirksville Public Works: Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment, Utility Maintenance, Central Garage, Street Maintenance and Administration. The Administration division oversees all other divisions. Each performs public service functions that are essential to the daily lives of Kirksville residents.
